I am somewhat new here. I wanted to ask about others experiences with a certain travel agency, but wasn't sure where to ask or if it was OK to mention a specific agency. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as booking Disney it is fairly easy to use their reservation system. What we used to do was go online and pre-book everything but the flight and narrow down our budget of where we could stay. Once we established that we would call Disney's Reservation line and book everthing that way. I truly don't believe there is an advantage to using an outside source for a Disney trip. The Disney CM's are very helpful and can guide you through the process.

Have you booked a Disney vacation before? If not, a good travel agent who really know Disney can be a big help in choosing a hotel and walking you through the various options - and there are a lot of options: preferred room, water view, monorail loop, Epcot resort area, Park hopper tickets or basic tickets, dining plan, deluxe dining, trip insurance? The Disney reservation system is pretty easy but it does always offer the most expensive options first. A travel agent familiar with the resorts, parks, and tickets can be a valuable resource.

Dreams Unlimited is a travel agency specializing in Disney vacations and is affiliated with these boards. You also see Small World travel recommended. I haven't used either of them but have used www.buildabettermousetrip.com and was very happy with the information and service received.

The main benefit to using a Disney travel agent is the they will keep up with the discounts, and if a better deal comes along, they can save you a lot of $. I have done 3 trips without a TA, but this time, we used Deb at the Magic for Less. She was awesome!! I just emailed her and told her what I wanted. If you go to themagicforless.com, they have a request form for quotes. Deb got back to me within an hour the first time I emailed her and I had a trip booked that day because I was sure she was getting me the best deal. I had been looking, so I knew what was out there.

I found out about Deb on the forums on Tourguidemike.com... another AWESOME site. If you are the type to buy the planning books, do this instead. Tour Guide Mike is AWESOME!!! You have to try his site for at least 1 trip and you will spend less time in lines and more time having fun.

The agency that has stood out the most to me is Magical Memories Travel. Anyone have any info good bad or what ever on them? Thanks in advance.:confused3
