I've read I can book a tour 180 days out. Is it like my dining reservations where, if I have a resort package, I can book 180 days out, and up to 10 days of my stay?

What tour are you looking at? Most are only booked at 180 and I've never heard of tours being able to book at 180 +10

Yes you can, we just did this for the Backstage Magic tour for this November. We were very surprised that you could do 180 + 10. We were doing dining reservations and mentioned that we had to wait until later in the week to make tour reservations and she said I can do this for you right now, and she did. At that point we were at 180 days but she booked the tour for 184 days out, what a pleasant surprise, I hope this works out for you too!

We were able to book our Keys to the Kingdom and Behind the Seeds tours at 180+10 with no problems.

We did KTTKT in April and loved it so much. We booked at 180 days out, good to know you can do the +10!

I haven't been on a bad tour yet but any with VIP in the name is a very different experience than the others (and costs like it is). I never really thought about when you can book. Once I know the dates i'm going to be there, I decide if I want to do a tour and call.. If they say call back, I call back.

Thanks guys! Before even looking at this thread this morning I gave WDW a call. I was able to book 180 + 4 out. Sad news is both tours which visit the utildors aren't available during the holiday season :sad2:, but we did chose a different tour :P AND I received 15% off because I used my Disney Visa. :flower:
