Booking a room for one night to get express pass?

Hi, I'm thinking of booking RPR for one night to get FOTL access during our stay. We'll be staying at SSR on our points. Am I correct in assuming we'd get two days of FOTL that way? Check-in day and next day. We'll be there Easter weekend, so I figure FOTL will be necessary and this will be cheaper than buying the FOTL access. Is there any issue with not going to your room at all?

You are correct....you will have express access the entire day you check in and the entire day you check out. You do not need to ever go to your room, but why not enjoy a mid day break at the pool and use the room as home base. Parks are usually open late during Easter week so you may really appreciate having a room right there.

I would not do that. Besides how will the new renters get into the room and have express pass?

Also early-entry to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Not all rides have Express Pass (e.g. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey)

Another plus: We really enjoyed doing the water rides in our bathing suits then going back to the resort to change to dry clothes...

In our case, 2 days of paying for Express Pass for a family of 4 would be very expensive; paying for one night at the Royal Pacific to get this benefit was worth it but the price (no discount) still seems a little high.

the room rates around Easter time and spring break have the holiday rate.
costly.........

i know of quite a few peeps that rent the room and never use it.
if you go that route, let the front desk be aware you will not be using the room.
housekeeping goes in daily to check the mini bar fridge and clean.
i do not know if they report to the front desk if the room has not been occupied.

you can not sublet a room.
why encounter a legal issue by trying that?
