Hi,

I asked a question a couple of weeks ago about how to book a PS - thanks for the info everyone.

My problem is this, there are 7 of us going in August and staying in a villa. Whereas I would like to plan everything with Military precision, the rest of them are very unorganised, like to dither and cant ever decide on anything!!!!

So what I though I would do is rather than create an itenary is to create a spreadsheet on each of the parks with a synopsis of quiet days, where the park is, what sort of rides are in there, which restaurants and hints form SimonVs book. That way we can decide what to do the day before depending on the weather, how we are feeling etc..

Now I am not sure what to do about PS as I dont know when we are going to be in which park. I know this is going to sound really check but could I provisionally book a PS on the day I think it will be likely we may be in that park but if we dont end up going there or if the family decide not to eat there, we just dont show up? I dont know how long they hold out a PS or if I have to put down a deposit.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

you can book a PS without a deposit, but "not just turning up" if you dont need it, isnt fair to the other people who would like a Ps at that time, phoning and cancelling is the other option.

If you really dont want to have the hassle, just walk in on the day and hope that they have a table free for the PS you require, it does happen!!!

yeah I thought it was a bit cheeky. Hopefully if we can decide a day in advance what we are going to do, I can then book something with 24 hours notice.

Thanks

Lisa,

I don't know if this helps but last time we went (last 2 weeks in August) each time we got a PS we did it on the day itself first thing in the morning. It did mean we didn't always get the exact time we wanted but we always got the restaurant at least. You may not find this is OK however at the more popular restaurants especially with a party of 7, but I just wanted to let you know it is possible.

Thanks

Karen
