Hi Al!
We are currently thinking about booking the Eastern Caribbean cruise leaving 5/27/2023. Since we would be booking so late do we have any hope of being able to secure an early port of arrive time and it's a small world nursery reservations?

Also, this will also be our first cruise with our 1 year old daughter and so we would like to request a private table, but again do we have any chance of securing a private table this late into the game?

Thank you all for any input you may have. We have never booked this last minute before so I am not sure what to expect.

Registration opens online at midnight est 30 days before your cruise, so you’ll have no disadvantage there because that’s when you secure your PAT and boarding group.

Online check in isn’t until 30 days out for everyone so you have a great chance of getting a PAT as that’s when you select it.

We just sailed on the Magic 3/3 and didn’t book until the middle of January. We requested a private table and got one. We also got early dining off the waitlist about 30 days before our sailing.

Thank you!!

I forgot that you select your PAT during the online check-in process. We haven't sailed since pre-covid so I have a lot of research to do :)

But your post was reassuring, thank you for sharing your experience. Fingers crossed we have the same luck!

As for a private table, we had requested one on our sold out cruise last month (we booked in September). Upon boarding we went to the dining change place to verify if we got that or not. We did not. After a little begging and pleading they said they would try but couldn't promise and to refresh the app after the assembly drill. If our table number gets changed that means we got it. They came through for us and it did! So, from my experience I would say a private table is always possible but not guaranteed.

I booked our first cruise at 45-ish days out. I checked in at 30 days on the dot and got an 11:15AM PAT.

As a FL resident, I am always in the lookout for a list minute cruise on DCL. Deals seem rare though.
