Cruise newbie here. I've read Passporter & have been reading this board a lot lately. Question. If I book a 4-day cruise only (& do the rest myself-flight, resort), can I get the Disney transfers (when I book the cruise) or do I need to book my own transfers? I know I read on the DCL site that to use their transfers, you must arrive between 8-4.

I feel very confident booking an entire trip to WDW on my own. But I'm not so confident when it comes to DCL.

Yes, you can book the Disney transfers at the time of booking or you can add them later.

Oh most definitely you can book the DCL transfers as well. Either at the time of your cruise reservation, add them on later very easily.

It's been several years since doing so, but we booked DCL transfers from our Disney World resort once we arrived.

You can add transfers at any time...in advance or at the resort. If there are 3 or more of you, a private limo is cheaper than DCL transfers, and will operate on your schedule (not their's)! It will also allow you a 15 minute grocery or Walmart stop if you desire.

I agree with kcashner. We use Tiffany Towncar Service. They are the best and make a store stop for munchies, soda, beer. It is usually a half hour stop. We have 7 going and it is Airport to WDW Hotel, Hotel to Port and Port to Airport and for 7 people in a 16 passenger van it is $255, that is way cheaper than DCL transfers. Check out their website tiffanytowncar.com.

Thanks! Since it will be a 25th anniversary cruise, it will just be DW & me. It looks like the Disney transfers will be cheaper.
