Hi guys,

Just looking for a little help as I've gone to disneyland this year already and I got a good deal following advice I read in these threads.

My problem is this: my girlfriend and I have annual passes for disneyland and I want to bring her away in January as a Christmas present to her. I found a good deal through the thread here: (I can't post links but it is the thread that was posted a few days back for the flash sale on the Belgian site) and We're going to spend 2 nights in the new york hotel, it was sort of an impulse buy to be honest.... I'm looking forward to it very much!

The problem however is since we have annual passes, the tickets to the parks that we will get as part of the hotel package won't be needed. Have disneyland been known to either upgrade your room in exchange for the tickets or do something else? also, because the offer is only for 2 nights, would I be able to add on another night or 2 onto the offer?

I hope someone will be able to help me, it seems a little messy at the moment!

Thank you!

Have you already booked your 2-night package at the HNY?

If you have an annual pass the best way to do that is to book one of you in on the package to get the discount price, then add the other name at check-in.

If you've already booked the both of you in on the package, then no, DLP won't offer anything in the way of an upgrade/reduction for you having annual passes.

If you want to add nights to your booking you can do that with your annual pass (although it might work out a fair bit more expensive than the package you've already booked). Just call Disney and tell them what dates and hotel you want, with your annual pass discount.

For January, Expedia are currently selling onsite room only, they might be cheaper than Disney room only with annual pass discount. I'd have a look on Expedia first, see what prices they show, then call Disney and get a price with your annual pass.

Unfortunately I did book it already, however before I did I checked expedia and saw that it was 100 euro more expensive there. Its no big problem I suppose, there's always a gamble when it comes to things like this!

As for adding days on, I will do a bit more research. If its going to be expensive then wouldnt it be possible to just get another package that would be cheaper using the method of putting one name on the room, so I would have the new york hotel for the last two nights of the trip and another package for the first two nights of the trip? I will also check expedia though. Thanks for the help!

yes, that would work fine :) - and you could also call the hotel a couple of days before you arrive, to tell them you have 2 different booking numbers and can they be linked so you can have the same hotel room for all 4 nights.
