I have booked directly with the airlines. You can sign up for their emails which will let you know when they have seat sales.

We have used southwest many times. They have great deals and direct flights from Buffalo to Orlando (only 2 1/2 hours). We got our flight in December for $69 each way. You can sometimes get cheaper flights if you sign up for Ding and wait for it to appear. BTW the taxes are under $10 compared to what we have to pay flying out of Ontario.

We have used Southwest many times as well. Very convenient ,they offer good service and it is easy to exchange tickets for a credit if you change your dates. Good Luck !

We book directly with the airline as well and have used most of the discount carriers that fly out of BUF. We've had no problems with any of them. Always on time unless it was a situation outside the control of the airline such as weather, maybe we're unusual but we have never lost a piece of luggage. They were all about the same except the condition on the US Air planes was a bit more worn. Still no biggie.

I am looking into using Southwest for my next trip. It seems easy enough to book a ticket online. For those of you who fly out of Buffalo, where do you park your cars and how much does it cost? I was also wondering if I book a ticket and then a Ding fare comes out, will Southwest give credits? And how long are credits usually good for?

We parked at the airport in Long Term parking. It was $40 incl tax with the airport online coupon for 1 week.

Great post I was going to ask the same thing. What zip code do you use if you are in Canada for Ding's . I tried 90210 but it didn't work. I keep getting Ding not responding

I used a Buffalo zip code 14201 and it worked for me.

By the way, Jetblue will be starting direct flights from BUF to MCO on November 15th

Right now the jetblue direct flight are $119 each way for our dates. They also only have one direct flight a day during our time period.
