booking a cash reservation?

I booked a cash reservation through DVC for BLT. The woman said I didn't need to pay a room deposit. The total would be due when we checked in. Is this correct? I just wanted to make sure. This is the first time I've booked a cash reservation through BLT.

sorry one more question. Since I booked through DVC I can use the BLT lounge at the top. Is this correct? I'm hoping this is true.

If you booked your cash reservation for BLT through Member Services then yes you may go to TOWL. I don't recall being charged a deposit amount when I last booked cash reservation through MS but I do certainly remember giving them credit card #. Be sure that you are clear on what the cancellation policy for cash reservation is - think it may be 5 days before check-in date.

DVC Member Services does not charge a deposit for rooms, you pay at check-in. They usually take a credit card # as a guarantee and will charge 1 night if the reservation is not cancelled at least 6 days before.
