Booking a 2BR Lock-off

My parents are coming with us on our next vacation and wanted a studio (we get a 1 BR) so we are planning on reserving a 1 BR Lockoff instead of a 1 BR and a studio to save points. Does anyone know if you do that do you have access from the hallway into the room from both the studio door and the door leading to the 1 BR portion or do they make your key card not work on the studio portion?

If you have a 2 bedroom lock off, all of the keys open both doors.

Keep in mind that with a 2 BR, the second bed room has two (2) queen beds, where in a 2 Br lock-off, the second bedroom has a king with a pull out couch.

no - queen with a double sleeper sofa. (not king)

the king is only in the master not the second bedroom.

That's fine for us. The studio portion will be used by my parents so they only need the 1 bed. Our kids and we will share the 1 BR portion.
