Hello all!

Need some advice, for my trip in January I've decided to visit Hollywood Studios for the day, mainly for Galaxys Edge, I'm more of a Universal person y'see, but would like to know the best way of going about getting a 1 day ticket in advance with the least amount of hassle.

Ideally I'd like to be able to rock up at rope drop and just go straight in, avoiding Will Call or Guest Services if possible!

Thanking you all in advance.

Spike.

Thanks all, I think I know who you mean!

After doing a bit of research the last day or two, seems my best bet would be to get a ticket from them, then once I land at MCO dash into the Disney Store, buy a magic band, where the staff there can link it to my MyDisneyExperience account.

Then when I get to DHS, Mickey will go "Ting!" and I'll be straight in, no faff, phew!

I'm not sure that staff at the Disney Store can link your magic band to your MDE account. I think that since you need to make reservations in advance, your best bet is to purchase the ticket directly from Disney (again, there are typically no discounts from any authorized seller for 1-day tickets) and use your phone as your ticket. You do not need a magic band to use as a ticket.

However, if you want to avoid Guest Services to get a hard plastic ticket, then yes, a magic band will work.

I *think* The Disney Store in the airport also sells 1-day tickets. If they do, you can always buy it there, link it to MDE and then make your park reservations, but that's kind of cutting it close.

Agree deals on 1 day tickets are rare even the frog has no deals. Sorry if I can't say that :)
Ticket has been purchased, and I have no idea why it was assumed I was looking for a deal, I was not.

Anyhoo I'll still be buying a magic band at mco and will be linking the ticket all by myself, I am the research Queen, I'd be a great travel agent!
