Bumping-hoping someone can let us know if it's hard (or a long wait) to get into ESPN Club or Offical All Star Cafe.

I have a DS10, and he wants to really try these places, but also said if it will be a long wait he would like to choose a couple of other places to make ressies at.

Just for safety sakes.....if we don't use our 2 TS credits for these places, we can just have Quick Counter Service and use our Table service credits there, correct?

Thanks. :thumbsup2

If I am not mistaken, the All Star Cafe is the food court for the value hotels. You never need a ressie to get into a food court. It may be crowded, but you'll get a seat I'm sure. Or is it the one at the Wide World of Sports? I am sorry, but I've never been to that one. I would imagine though that the waits there could be long if there is a sporting event going on at the WW of Sports that day or if there is a big game on tv. Are the Bucs practicing there yet?

As for the ESPN restaurant, well we have to eat here too every time we visit! It can be easy at times to get in here -- no waits at all. Lunch time is emptier. But, if they are filming their little interview show that plays on WDW tv, and are interviewing a coach or a player from some sport, then you have trouble getting in. They do this around 5 or 6pm, but I am not sure of the day of the week. I am almost positive it is a Friday or Saturday event. Also, if there is any type of sports playoffs or big games on any night, the restaurant will be packed. I've seen the line snake outside along the Boardwalk during these events. It all depends on what is going on in the sports world!

Ok, thanks.

Yes, for the All Star Cafe, I was speaking of the one in the complex, not the the food courts, sorry.

Ok, if someone could help me on one other question, that would be nice.

I don't carry a cell phone to Disney, if I book later ressies (around 7-ish) for other places and check out the lines and waits at the two rests. I questioned, is there a way a CM would be able to help me out and cancel my booked ressies, should we wait to in any lines for our two "first" choices?

I hate to leave a ressie, (if we wanted to stay and eat at ESPN club or All Star Cafe), and not end up using the ressie after all.

The All-Star Cafe won't be a problem getting a seat or table, now on the other hand ESPN Club will be tricky. Saturdays with College Football are almost as full as NFL Sundays. Depending on whos playing and at what time will distate how long your wait will be. If you're hpoing for a bar seat or table where all the TV's are thats going to be difficult becuase a lot of people will already be there who went to watch there team play the 330 game. The dinning room might be easier, plus its alittle before the dinner rush. I would say 10-15 minute wait for dining room, and 30-45 minute wait for bar area, unless you get lucky and are standing around a table/seats where someone is leaving, then's it gets real intresting becuase a lot of rude/brazen people will still try and swoop in and take those seats. pirate:
have fun though ESPN is my favorite place there! :Pinkbounc
