Booked Virgin via Continental HELP!

This is the first time we have used Continental to book onto the Virgin flights saving us £500

I get so stressed and have a number of questions:

1. DO I need to fill the API information on Continental and Virgin sites or is Virgin sufficient?

2. We all have middle names and when I have booked on the Continental site they are fine but when looking at the Virgin online booking it adds our middle initials to the end of the first name???? I did call Continental but they said this is common practice - anyone else had this issue and will it cause a problem at check in???

3. I can't book a kids meal for DD11 on either site - help?

4. It won't let me book our seats on either site and I am worried we won't be put together as DS14 and DS12 are adult price and but I don't want them sitting seperately - any advice?



DH thinks I should chill and it will all be okay when we check in but its on my mind - I'm such a worrier

I am a little confused by your post - do you mean that you have booked via the Continental website - but got onto the Virgin codeshare flight?

If this is the case I am not sure how you can access your booking through both sites? We have booked the Virgin codeshare regularly through the Continental site and can only access the booking through the Continental site. Am also assuming that if your kids are both paying full adult fare, then they are classed as full adults i.e. the kids meal isn't available to them.

You should be able to access the seat planner - I understand that you don't want to be split up - perhaps the seat planner was down. ANyway, let me know exactly how you booked and i will try to help.

we have also booked our flights via Continental codeshare.

we have completed our api's on the virgin site.

have been told that we can't pre-request seats since we are a codeshare.....this a recent change that virgin have made......suggest you arrive at the airport early or do OLCI......I understand that this is available to codeshares

I emailed VIRGIN and they said that they would reserve 3 children's meals for us........I also asked about luggage in the same email.....took about a week for them to respond but they did and answered all my qustions.

we also have the names with the second initial....both Continental and Virgin have told me no problem with that.

I'm a worrier as well..so I hope that this makes you feel a little better
