booked through orbitz our hotel, need help please

Booked our onsite hotel through orbitz and I've searched but couldn't find the answer to my recent question, would someone please help? This is our first visit ever and I had no idea just how much planning it takes for a Disney trip. We are excited though. We chose orbits for the extra savings of 15% on top of room rate.

Do we receive the same benefits such as Disney quest tickets and the Fantasia golf ticket booklet as resort guests booking through orbitz? If we do, how do we receive it because it has not arrived in the mail?

Those extras are received when you book a *package*. The online TA websites don't have packages, so you don't get them. Even if you'd booked a room-only directly through Disney you wouldn't have gotten them.

Make sure when you go into MDE to customize the magic bands that you change the shipping address you your address. It will default to the address of Orbitz.

Don't sweat that. Do mini golf at home! You can at times, get great rates with Orbitz doing just what you did.

Even though you are booked through Orbitz, you get all the onsite perks: Disney's Magical Express, Extra Magic Hours, Disney transportation, online check-in, etc.

I second this. I have booked through Expedia several times, and the address always defaults to their address instead of mine. Otherwise, there is no difference in benefits booking a room only reservation through a third party than booking it directly through Disney, and sometimes you can really save some money doing so.
