Booked the Dolphin! Need tips please!

I booked the Dolphin for 12/21 - 12/25 (may extend it a day on the front end). I am soooo excited! I have a 15 year old son and it will be just the 2 of us. Does anyone have tips to make the trip even more exciting for us? He wants to go to Universal, so i figured we could do that for 1 day too....

Have you checked out the Swan/Dolphin resorts thread? Lots of great ideas there. Do be sure you have a Starwood Preferred Guest membership and add it to your reservation (for upgrades.) Oh, and eat at Bluezoo--yum!

We love WDW and we have never been to Universal even though we have been to Orlando over 50 times in the last 12 years. There's just always so much to do at WDW! Be sure you see the boardwalk in the evening and if he like High School Musical, the show at MGM is great. DS17 loves the freedom of staying by Epcot and MGM so we can walk around and take our time or rush as much as we want to. DD16 loves the wonderful beds at the Dolphin and Swan!! There's nothing at WDW that will be boring for him, but maybe you would want to go on the WDW website and let him help you make the custom maps (even if you don't have time to get them back in the mail, you can print them) and pick out stuff he wants to do. Have a great trip!!

This is his 5th trip, but we haven't been in 3 years. I think he'll forget how old he is once we get there. I always do!
