Booked Racing Experience for DH!!!

I'm so excited and have to tell someone so here you go! I just booked a racing experience for DH as a gift for our wedding anniversary. He's always wanted to do the Richard Petty thing at Disney and then they added the exotic experience which sent him over the edge. I just couldn't stomach spending almost $400 on it!!! Today Groupon is offering a 3 lap experience which includes a cd that has video footage of your ride inside the car and outside for only $99!!! What a deal! I'm going to come up with some sort of elaborate reason why we need to go to Milwaukee that day (maybe visit the museum or something) and then surprise him. He's going to flip!

How exciting! I did that for my DH a few years ago when they had a special charity event. DS's were much younger, so we made signs to surprise him that read "Go Fast Daddy", etc. Everyone loved it, and even though he won't admit it, I think DH felt like a NASCAR driver when the kids held up the signs.

That is a great idea! I have to go to the insurance company and put full coverage on him without him knowing... lol... I think he's going to be so excited once he finds out. He always drools when we pass Richard Petty...

My hubby is driving Daytona Experience of a lifetime this May and I can't wait, and Im not the one driving! He did the one at Disney world in 2009 and has been hooked every since! Daytona is a dream track, he gets to do 24 laps. Yahoo!
