Booked part of Nov trip...help me decide!

woohooo! I finally just booked most of our 3rd annual Nov/Dec trip to WDW!

our plans are 16 nights, nov 22 - 26 at ??
and then 12 nights Nov 26 - Dec 8 at Yacht Club lake view concierge (which is what I just booked)

The first 4 nights, we currently have booked at the BCV, studio. We were thinking of renting our dvc points, and staying at the Grand Floridian, or Polynesian instead!

We havent stayed at the GF since Jan of 2001, and the Polynesian since Nov 2001.
figuring, we would spend a lot of time at MK those first 4 days and then only have to get on a bus from the YC to go to the MVMCP's, and breakfast at the Castle on Thanksgiving morning

so, please vote,
the non-concierge choices would be to save a bit of $$
the Polynesian is our fav for views and atmosphere, but the GF is awesome, and holds a dear place in our heart since we spent our honeymoon there. and the decorations at the GF will be up! love that lobby
or... should we just keep our BCV studio, or move to BWV studio.....

What about the WL??? The concierge there wouldn't be as expensive. I would vote for that or for GF- for the decorations, of course! Almost forgot- I will be at WL from the 26th-30! Just can't wait for Thanksgiving!

I'm sorry I can't vote coz I haven't stayed at any of your choices, but I can't believe you are going for 16 days!

Will you adopt me? My family can only go 6 - 7 days.

I think you should book either GF or the Poly. Since you are spending 12 nights at an Epcot resort, you may want to spend the first few at a MK resort. It will break the tip up, plus the convenience can't be beat if you have a lot of MK plans for the first few days.

Hi Laura!

I voted for GF LV. We really loved our room in Conch Key, and I think you guys need a change of scenery from the Epcot area. Another idea is OKW???? Don't you own points there? That's where we'll be the whole week of Thanksgiving, so I want you for my neighbor. LOL Seriously though, I think you guys should rekindle your love for the GF and spend a few nights in front of the castle. Come on! You know you want to!!!!

yes, we own at OKW, since '97, never stayed there! lol, we are planning on it one day, but not Nov.
We are thinking about what we want to do, it is hard to decide on nOv when we are thinking about our next trip in July!
Jerry is making all the plans for that one though, since it is for my b-day! feels great to not have to worry about anything, for once.

we love both the GF and the Poly, it is so hard, because they are both so different, yet wonderful!
