We are staying at the ASMo and don't have a car... I really wanted to do a Chef Mickey breakfest but I "think" it would take alot of time to take a bus to the park, bus to the other resort and then eat and then take a bus to the park that we are going to that day, am I correct? I'm assuming the best bet would be a breakfest in one of the parks, I would really like one with Mickey, but don't see it... The closest I see is Tusker House in AK, which is fine but we don't have park hoppers and since that is the park that closes early I don't want to waste my time eating. Maybe get a ressie before park opens? What places did you enjoy eating at and how long do the meals take? We are on the QSDP so we would be paying OOP.

Mickey appears only at Chef Mickey's (all meals), 'Ohana (breakfast), Tusker House (breakfast) and Garden Grill (dinner). Of these, Tusker House and Garden Grill are located inside theme parks, but Garden Grill is dinner only.

The Contemporary is in walking distance of the MK bus stops - so you wouldn't have to take two buses. Go to the Magic Kingdom and walk to the Contemporary. I am not sure how that works if your reservation is so early that the buses to MK are not running yet though. You do always have the option of taking a taxi.

If you are spending the day at MK you can get there easily from Chef Mickey's. For other parks, you can get a bus from the Contemporary to AK or DHS or monorail to Epcot.

In '06 we were at BCR with the earliest possible ADR at CMs, in fact, we were the first in line. I inquired at the desk and they told me that there would be a bus to the MK in time for me to make my ADR. We were the only ones on the bus and the driver dropped us off right at the CR! A sprinkle of Disney magic to begin your day!

It's only about a ten minute walk from the CR to the gates at MK.

We dont have a car either, and we always do Ohana breakfast- but it takes awhile -

The poly is close to the Ticket and Transportation Center - so you have options...

I like ohana because they bring the food to you, it takes time because they seat each section entirely so you have the characters coming around and they dont miss anyone - then they do a cute parade...

We have had early ADRs (between 8:05 & 8:20) at CP on our trips. The buses to MK started around 7:00am from POFQ running about every 20 mins until closer to opening time.
As a PP said it is a 10 minute or so walk from the MK bus stop to the CR.
Worst case take a taxi to CR and then walk or monorail over to the MK after eating

WDW is full of resort guests eating breakfast at other resorts or in the parks before the parks open.

WDW wants to encourage guests to eat TS breakfasts.

WDW therefore starts busses running about an hour before the breakfasts start: about 7 am, most times of the year. If you are at the POR bus stop to the MK between 7 and 7:15 you should be fine. From the MK bus drop-off it is much closer to walk to the CR for Chef Mickey's than to take a bus or monorail.

After breakfast you can walk to the MK - or ride the monorail loop back to the MK just for the fun of it - or take the monorail to the TTC and transfer to the Epcot monorail line - or take a bus from CR to DHS. Just for closeness I'd try to schedule the Chef Mickey breakfast on a day when you are going to the MK, or alternatively on your last morning if you are not going into any of the parks, as a 'farewell'.

We are doing Tusker house simply because it is in a theme park. Dh don't really like doing the resort to resort than to the park. We are also on the QSDP.
