Morning everyone!
I've been sat at my laptop since 7am to try and get our £69 tickets. I must have refreshed my screen about 10 times between 7-8 o'clock but still the tickets didn't appear so I rang Eurostar.

The man on the phone told me they had been released and it might have been cookies on my computer stopping me from seeing the updates

So anyway, we've booked for £119 per person. Obviously not the cheapest fare but we are now officially going to Disneyland at Christmas :dance3:

Update: deleted cookies and the dates are still not appearing. Feel better now knowing that we couldn't have got the cheapest fares as I rang as soon as they opened :)

Cool! I was thinking of doing this at some point are you booking hotel separate? If so which one? :-)

Congrats! :cool1:

Do you know how far ahead this batch of tickets is going? I'm anxious to get my Feb half term tickets booked up as soon as I can!

Me neither - I got them within 10 mins of going on sale last year and it was £130 per person :sad2:

I had an email from Eurostar today telling my that tickets up to 4 January were available over the phone but wouldn't be available online until 22 July.

does anyone know when the 12th jan are goign to be released?? thats when im hoping to go but not booking hotel until eurostar released *** depends on price!! thanks

As above, I think it's 7th/8th august.

It will be on the phone :thumbsup2
Eurostar will say on line too but they won't be trust me.

definitely! I don't understand how our tickets were already £119 when we were through to Eurostar at 8am and they hadn't been released online :confused3
so don't count on cheap tickets!

Travel agents grrr :(
Mine for oct half term one way was £98.50 REALLY !!
We are going indirect there I have got the direct home for the cheap price thought.
Our whole trip with east coast now only costing £110 for the adults.

I think that's what will do for feb too as our home journey is not in school holiday I will book direct home and wait for indirect going I have a great website fir the tgv if anyone need it send me a message.
Soo glad you got booked :goodvibes x

Haha so really there's no chance of the cheap tickets! No so bad because we only have ourselves to pay for, but when you're paying for a whole family it's not funny!
Sounds like you've got it all sorted. Indirect sounds very easy actually :thumbsup2

You know what in school holidays and peak time like yours (Christmas )
No I don't think any hope at all tbh.
So £119 not a bad price at all.
Paying for 5 at the min so all saving good :worship:
Planning a Christmas trip next year and think I will do a stop over in Lille as the markets there look fab we normally do Edinburgh.
Can not wait to read all about your 21st as my twins say it's us's birthday xx

Exactly we had to book it anyway because hotel is all sorted - as we said it wasn't going to get any cheaper. While Christie was on the phone I was stood next to her waiting for a thumbs up or thumbs down to see if we could book or not! We were very relieved to have it sorted.
Christmas market idea sounds brilliant. Nothing more festive than a good market (apart from Disneyland of course!)
I asked to swap to have Sunday 14th off work today (we aren't allowed time off in December) so hopefully I can sort that and we can start our holiday a day early and go to london Sunday morning not Sunday evening.
Really can't wait!! (Haha not that you can't already tell by the amount I've rambled on)

Well i am totally unimpressed.

I haven't been on here for a while due to work getting in the way and having a new grandchild in the house:) but i was planning my usual early january trip for next year.

It now seems that Disney from the 6th of January to the 8th or 9th of February will NOT be running a direct service. Instead anyone who wishes to travel between those dates will have to go via the indirect service and change at Lille.
I can understand why it has been done because the past few years the train has been half (probabaly more than half) empty.

BUT.. and here is the but. Eurostar say tickets will not go on sale until 90 days before for those travel dates. I have spoken to a few different people at Eurostar and they say the same thing. Because the service is indirect you cannot book tickets until the 90 day before mark.

So for me that means either booking a whole package on the Disney website and adding the train which funnily enough you can do.
Or... wait until November to book the train but then i run the risk of prices being even higher if people have been able to book their transport on the Disney website for ages.

Does anyone else have the same dilemma? or has anyone else been told different?

I have a way round it but it may cost you more but not 100s more it's a chance I've taken tbh as Eurostar so naff.
