Booked new free dining for Visa card holders - please explain my RSVP :)

We had previously booked the Kids play free for nights of Sept 25, 26, 27, 28 and planned on going to the parks on the 26,27,28,29

All in all total was 2103 for family of 5 at POR, with reg dining.

So then when I saw the free dining this am , I talked DH to lets change to one day earlier to qualify for the free dining.

So I call Disney up, tell them I already have the Kids Play free and want to move my RSVP ahead one days time to qualify for the free dining. All in all, doing that only brought my total down $98 bucks, I was happy enough, and then DH says what if we stay 5 nights instead, what's the total? $2215.

I never once had to give a code, or ask for anything specific, she said my original RSVP would just be modified and I won't have to do anything at all, other than say " change it" So I say thanks for the info and hang up. I confir the info to DH and he says lets just add 1 more night at the beginning to make it a total of 5 night.

OK, great, have the green light.

I call back not 3 mins later and get Mr. Crabby cranks r-us. He had a very put-out attitude to be answering my call ( ya know, doing his J O B ) I say I wanna just add the one day and change to the free dining. In a very laborious voice " mmmmaaaammm, you can't do that " I say well, I just got the quote for the total price and I am just calling to do it. He says " well, you'll loose your deposit and have to make a new deposit, because you'll have to give me your cc # again to ensure you have a Disney Visa, cause ya know, your cc # is encrypted" . I say - huh ? I just called 3 minutes ago and none of this was mentioned. All the while he had a very snarky tone and was just so un-magical. I said " you know, I'll just call back later when I speak with somebody who wants to be nothing but polite with me" before I finish my sentence, he quips with " ma'm, you have a magical ni----------dialtone--------, he actually hung up !

So I call back again, for the 3rd time in 20 minutes, I get the sweetestest thing on the other end of the line. So nice and cheery, I was locked and reserved in less then 5 minutes and got my Confirmation email, modifiying the RSVP, But now that I have it, what are some of these things included ?

Those items are coupons to be used towards the services for fishing boats, hair appts, etc. The Photo book was what you had to buy to get the free dining deal

Above is correct - with one exception they are all the coupons, vouchers and discount offers you receive as part of a package reservation, which you can use or not use. The memories photo book is different - you are required to purchase that as part of this free dining offer.

Nope. It's built into the package price with the new free dining offer at just under 100 dollars.

The other things are all coupons that come in a booklet that you get with any package. You don't pay extra for them, and can use them or not. But the photobook is a new part of the free dining promo.

I wonder if anybody knows what they are good for ?

None of them list a line price (such as $15 ) or a specific activity (1 round of golf)

any ideas ?

Ohhhhh!! Sorry! I misunderstood.

O.k.. well..
The only one I know for sure is the one for the Childrens activity center. It's a percentage off (15 I think) of services at places like the Neverland Club at the Poly. Several of the Deluxes have childcare centers basically and that's a coupon that can be used at them.

The PH souvenir is a cheap keychain not with a buck. The meal is ok, except the food there is not worth it, and you'll be stuffed with FD.

The mini golf is a BOGO. And the sea racer I think is 15 minutes free with 30' rental or something like it.

Do the 'extras' you get with buying a package expire at the end of your stay similar to unused meal credits? or can I save them for future visits?

They expire, you can not use them for future visits.
