HEY I have booked for next july with virgin holidays. Please tell me Ive done the right thing. We havent even been this years holiday to florida yet.this year were going with first choice, last year with TCD so if anyone has travelled with VH could you please let me know how you liked it.This year were staying in Disney at the POR and next year were going to be staying at the Fairfield inn and suites so if anybody has stayed here let me know anything about it.thank you

Booking any WDW is the right things to do :lmao:

We have been with Virgin a couple of times and they were fine. We don't go to welcome meetings...who needs them with DIS :lmao: Always stayed on site and POR is great. This year we are doing our first DIY :scared1:

Hello,
I have travelled with Virgin since i was 15yrs old. They, like any company can have there moments. Some of the reasons why i continue to fly with them are;-
I believe(compared to what i have heard about other airlines)that they are reliable(yes they can have delays-but so can others),worth the extra money than another airline may charge you-because there drinks,meals,snacks,ice-creams are free throughout the course of your journey. You don't pay extra to sit together, individual seat back tv's,free goodybag for children flying, free small amenity kit for adults(toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask),luggage allowance is great, transfers are free if you don't take the car option(i have only stayed off site though).

I have never stayed onsite,so can't help you there.I have only stayed on I-Drive but not at the Suite you mention-sorry.x.

We almost always book DIY but if doing a package then its VH. Booked with them for our Xmas trip this year, £580 each, fllght only is over £900 each:scared1: . For that trip we will be staying at Fairfield Inn again for the 3rd time. Good clean hotel, is it the one at LBV you are staying at? nice breakfast included, make your own waffles, cereals, toast etc. I posted pics in a thread, I will try find it and post link but don't hold your breath it was a while back don't know if I will find it.
POR staying there for 3 nights end of August trip not been before. Stayed in a value resort 8 years ago and said will never stay onsite again so hoping this changes our opinion of onsite resorts.

We've booked for next year before this year's holiday too!!! Disney does that to you:rotfl:

hi again. its the fairfield inn , international drive.Ive been on trip adviser and it gets good reviews.I have stayed at the rodeway inn :scared1: in previous years so it cant be any worse than that, i wouldnt think. We dont really spend alot of time in the room anyway so i suppose as long as its clean.thanks everyone.:worship:

Not stayed in the one up Idrive but called in to look around when we were considering it for Easter 07, its just like the one at LBV apart from the location, I guess they build them all to similar specs. We prefer LBV but nothing wrong with that one either.

Congrats on booking for next year, and if you are happy with the price then why not.
i have flown with Virgin the last 2 times ,and very happy with them. Going with BA this year only because it worked out a lot cheaper for us ,as we need connecting flights from Belfast.
Have stayed at POFQ but not POR, both very similar as they are sister resorts, only POR is larger. The bus service to the parks stops at POFQ first before going on to POR, and on the way back POFQ are dropped off first.Make sure you buy the refillable mugs as they saved us quite a bit over the 2 weeks we where there.
I am considering Virgin for next year ,have been in touch with them as i have seen flights , but the connection is a stumbling block for me at the minute. I did a DIY this year with flights at £400 each, if i book Virgin with the connection its working out at £600 each, so will probably wait till Aug/Sep when schedule flights are released.
