Booked Car rental

Lots of useful info - checked our dates in August with both auto-europe and USRAC but even with cashback US is coming out slightly cheaper so have gone with them.
I don't need a car the whole trip so have gone with Alamo at Disney - does anyone know if I get to choose a car at the Disney Car Centre?
I vaguely recall just being given a car with no options in the past:confused3

We just collected a car from the car care centre and were given the keys in the office however they gave us a choice of models before giving us the keys.
 
Auto europe just beat my quote from Florida Escapes!! 16 nights standard SUV jeep or similar - pick up 13/8. £358, very pleased with that and I have just started using Quidco too. Prefered to book with Auto Europe as I like their no fee amendments etc. So thanks for that Wayne.......we saw you last August on I think your arrival day in the car park of Publix! (to scared to say hi !). Just got the voucher and the car is with Dollar. Can I pre-register and go straight to the garage?

Found an economy car for £198.33 for two weeks (apparently with no excess), am I right in assuming I won't find a better price than that? Think we might just book as they have that great cancellation policy. Thanks for sharing this Wayne :goodvibes

Always possible a lower rate will pop up, never say never but it can't get much cheaper than that.

There is an upgrade voucher with dollar, do I just hand this in when I go to the garage and how do they know I am an express member. I have never used dollar express before. I have already joined. I have e-mailed Auto-Europe with my dollar number and asked them to put it on the booking. I haven't had a reply yet and that was last week.

I Just hand over my Express card with the rental voucher, only once I added it to my reservation, I asked the agent about it he said not to bother, makes no difference if its on the reservation or not as long as I have my Express number/card with me on collection, so I have never informed them since.

Just booked my rental for £3 pounds less, so I guess it could get lower :laughing: Must admit that I was a bit worried though as the cheapest car said it had 2 doors, but turned out the ressie was for Budget that seems to only have 4 door cars or bigger :goodvibes

Very few rental cars are 2 doors (I have never seen one in 30 visits) Always pay for 2 doors. I noticed the other day a couple of websites advertising "get free upgrade to 4 dr" I thought thats good of them as 2 door are as rare as hens teeth.

Thanks, I haven't got a card, but I will take a copy of the e-mail dollar sent me. That will save loads of time with no queuing at the desk.

If you log into your account there is a link, it says "Need to print your membership card? Print it here."
Just logged into my account to check it works OK and it does.
