Booked as Silver but possibly cruising as Gold?

Ok, so I changed my scheduled Feb Break 2019 cruise to July 2019 for my birthday trip - that way my TA just changed everything over and I didn't have to pay a new deposit.

In all likelihood once we get our next raise in May, I'll be booking for Feb break again. Assuming that happens, that will be my 5th cruise which would make me Gold for the July one.

I've never had multiple DCL cruises booked, so... Will that automatically move my check-in date up to the Gold date when I complete the Feb cruise? Or would my TA have to call and remind them to do that?

Yes it will. On the morning of our fifth cruise I logged into our Castaway account and we were gold already. I think I checked before we were even off the ship.

Awesome! Thanks! The birthday cruise is far enough out from February that it DOES make a difference in terms of booking those excursions and/or Palo! :)

It should happen auto-magically. If not one quick call to DCL and you can have them correct it.

When that happened for us, the CClub section of the website did indeed have our updated status. However, under My Reservations, the pay in full to start booking date did not change. I still had my TA pay in full earlier based on our new status, and we were able to book adult dining, etc. at that point.

Thanks. That was the main part I was wondering about - if the date for "Pay in full to begin booking activities" would change. I guess worst-case I contact my TA and have her call them.

This happened to us recently. It changes automatically after you cruise, or maybe after you check-in. Either way, you don't have to do anything.

We were on our fifth cruise in February, and rebooked onboard. When I got home I logged on to our account and it still said we were silver status according to our online registration date. I sent an email to our TA, and later that day when I logged on it had been updated to gold status. Sounds like we are the exception, but it was an easy fix.
