Does anyone know of any books that are similar to Jodi Picoult's My Sisters Keeper or Handle with Care? I have read both and really enjoyed them so I was just wondering if there were any other books that dealt with similar topics. Thank you:)

I've read a lot of Jodi Piccoult's books. Some I've really liked and others not so much. A good way to find books similar to those you've liked is to use Amazon. Find a book you like and then look at the recommendations below it. It shows several books that are similar to the one you're looking at. I've found lot of books that way.

I wasn't too clear in my last post.
What I meant was books where someone in the family is ill (it could be anyone), and how it affects the family.
Thanks:)

Definitely the Time-Traveler's Wife. I liked The Year of Fog too. And I want to read the Lucky One and Still Alice.

"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime" is a short book told through the eyes of a teenager with Aspergers. Easy to read and gives you lots to think on.

A few months back I read the book His Brother's Keeper by Jonathan Weiner which is a non-fiction book about a family dealing with the ALS diagonsis of their brother and son and how they begin researching treatments. It's very heartbreaking to read but a good book. Another good book dealing with ALS that is also is similar to My Sister's Keeper is the novel You're Not You You by Michelle Wildgen.
