Im wanting to plan my next return in May 2011.

Should I book now or wait? WHen am I likely to get the best deal? DO we think 40% will be back? And when?

Happy New Year Everyone :cheer2:

I've posted this already in other threads but what I have done is booked SL with 30% off so I know the trip is sorted, and if 40% off comes back I'll upgrade to HNY for a few pounds extra!
This way I'll get a good deal either way and I know for sure the trip is booked.
If you don't have a set budget and dares though it might be worth waiting. I always think better safe than sorry but that's just me!
Which hotel are you thinking of?

I'm hoping to book next week while the 30% deal is on, I have very specific dates and I want the Hotel New York so I will be better off booking now.

Last year the 40% off deal came out on 1st March but it's not for all dates or all hotels or all rooms. I agree that it depends on how flexible you can be, if you aren't tied to dates then I would probably wait...

Although last year I booked up on one deal and then changed it when the 40% deal came out, I lost my original deposit but I still saved £100 so it was worth doing. :goodvibes

It is the same old Disney Lottery. I had exactly the same dilemma last April see...http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2451824

It is always a bit of a gamble but as previous posters have said you can always upgrade and turn a gamble that doesn't quite work out into a positive.

And the biggest plus is that you will have something to look forward to if you book now:banana::banana::banana:

I was tied to dates so couldn't take the risk that if 40% was offered it would be for our time so chose to book with the 30% offer. OK, I may have saved another 10% if I'd waited but I decided I didn't want to take the risk.

I think if you can be flexible ie. can go any time in May and aren't fussed where you stay then you can probably afford to wait as I think the odds are that there will be another 40% offer.

However, the other thing to bear in mind is the 30% offer is for all hotels and for all bookings ~ I believe when the 40% was offered previously it wasn't for all hotels or for all dates and there were only a set number of rooms set aside for it.
