We are sure of our travel dates in November of 2016. Doubt that we will get a discount, because we think we want to stay at POFQ, and discounts aren't often offered there. We would need a package with two rooms. Is there any benefit to booking now? I know that there is a lot of speculation regarding ticket tiering and changes. We won't be there at a peak time, coming right after Thanksgiving, but there will be weekend days included in our stay. I'm sure dining prices will go up as well. If prices go up and we have already booked, are we guaranteed the price quoted now? TIA

Unless that is a typo, I doubt rates for2017 are out yet. If they will let you book this far out (I don't know), I am pretty sure they will adjust your price when those rates are released.

I believe you can book around 499 days ahead, but the rates for your trip may not be available at that time so you may need to make some modifications as information releases.

You can book the package now and as long as you do not make any changes to the package your price is locked in, but if you need to modify dates, rooms, tickets, take advantage of a special offer, there is no guarantee that your price will remain the same.

It's always good to book if you know your dates because you never know when the rooms will be booked up. I waited on POR for June and when I went to book the standard rooms were already gone.

I also have booked for Thanksgiving week 2016, knowing that The Little Mermaid rooms at AoA get snatched up quickly. I am not expecting any kind of discount during that time, so I booked the whole package with dining plan already.

I would book now. You can always change things as needed but I find it good to lock up your room ASAP.
