Book airfare now or wait for Jet Blue to release fares?

I can get round trip Burlington VT, Orlando in Feb. 2017 for a little over 1200.00 (2 adults, 1 child). Alternately, United for about 1800 (we have flown United before and it was good). Never had experiences with American so am nervous, but people on this board reassured me that they are OK for the Burlington, Orlando route. Should I book one of these, and if so which? Or, should I wait for Jet Blue to release their fares this summer? I'm nervous about waiting on Jet Blue because historically their air fare is higher (although they used to be the least expensive).
Thoughts?

I don't know what's "normal" for your airport. If "normal" is $350+, I'd probably go ahead and book (flights across the board have been high recently). If normal is $300 or less, I'd probably wait, but keep watching.

And just so you know, there is no "child" air fare (unless you count a lap baby) discount.

Yeah it is kinda high. I'll keep shopping thanks.

Yeah it is kind of high compared to what I got last year. I'll keep shopping. Thanks

Are you traveling during the February school vacation period? If so, that is why airfares are high in your area during that period. It's likely that JetBlue will not release cheaper fares. I would probably book now on American.
