I love your old scrapbook pictures! I was planning to do that for my PTR as well, just waiting to borrow my DBIL's scanner to scan old pictures and photalbum pages!

I love reading about people's first trip or their trip that started their addiction. The trip and the memories that spoke to them and said...."You are hooked. You will never stop loving Disney world". When I think about my "You are hooked" trip, it always brings back that warm, fuzzy feeling. I guess that's the magic!

Thanks! I love scrapbooking! That was the very first one I ever did! Scanning your old pictures to add to your PTR is a great idea! I would have scanned the pages but they're 12x12 and won't fit on the scanner, the pictures would have been a lot clearer that way!

Hooked indeed! It wasn't just one moment but that whole entire trip! The magic of seeing the kids have such a wonderful time on their first trip to WDW was enough to be hooked for life!

Thanks! I've seen the stuff you can do and I'm sure you have tons of patience, and talent too I love scrapbooking but it takes me FOREVER! Really, I still haven't finished January!! I have 4 more pages to go! 2 sets of facing pages. 1 for when DS did Jedi Training and 1 for Wishes. I'm hoping to get to those next week!!

Isn't it kinda fun to look back on that first trip and realize all the rookie mistakes you made, yet knowing you had a magical trip?

I look back on that first trip and realize there was sooooo much we didn't know! We knew a lot more then some because of our tavel agent and a few books. We had ADR's and knew about EMH but we had no plan at all. Other then that. We missed soooo much because we just weren't prepared with the knowledge that came with experience and being completely obessed!!

I wish we would have had more knowledge on our first trip. We were that couple that didn't even understand how fastpasses worked . That's what we got for entrusting our entire vacation to someone that knows Disney like the back of his hand. He forgot to mention all the little details like ADRS and fastpasses .

I just started digi scrapping after our trip in March! I love it! I don't think I'll ever stop paper scrapping, especially because I have all the supplies and gadgets. But Im loving digital scrapping! I'm finding it a lot less time consuming and a lot less expensive!

It's so funny to look back on your first trip and see all the stuff that you did wrong! But how were you to know? I have a friend who went over thanksgiving several years ago for the first time and didn't know a thing! She talks about eating hot dogs for Thanksgiving dinner! She just assumed they'd be able to walk into a restaurant and get a table

Hello all my faithful Dis friends!! Sorry to be MIA thee last few days! We had a house full of people our annual St Patrick's Day in July Party over the weekend!

St Patrick's Day in July?! What is that you may ask! A quick explain DH grew up in NYC and every year his parents had a St Patrick's Day party. When they moved from NYC to eastern Long Island no one wanted to come all the way out here for a party in the middle of March!So FIL got the wonderful idea to have it in July!

So we end up with a weekend of friends and family from near and far and a whole lotta fun

Ryan's girlfriend was in attendance! She is the daughter of 2 very good friends of DH and I from college.

Anyway, to make my weekend even more interesting then it already was Ryan woke up Saturday morning with a rash all over! All I could think was if it was contagious that I'd have to lock myself and him up in a bedroom and keep him away from the party I ran him to the doctor and it turns out the doctor says it was an allergic rash to "something." Alrighty, now I have to figure out what! The doctor was leaning toward the onset of a food allergy! We had pizza on Friday night so I'm wondering about tomatoes. Not sure though! We'll see I guess!

I promised myself last week that I was going to finish my scrapbook from our January trip this week and I did yesterday! For the most part anyway! The last set of 2 pages was my wishes pictures from our last night in WDW. I wasn't all that happy with the way the pages came out and last night when I laid down in bed inspiration hit me as to how I should have done it! so I'll be re-do them later today! I need get some photo paper first though!

The really reason I came here wasn't to babble at you though I promise! I wanted to let you know I'm working on my next real update and should be back with it today or tomorrow!!

How do you figure out what the allergy is? Just try giving him things and then waiting for a reaction? That would be awful! I hope it was just a fluke, or like I said on my PTR, something he outgrows quickly! Poor dude!

I'm planning on suprising my girls in October. Figure any talking about the trip they hear us doing now, they will think is for the August trip. Just trying to decided the best way to tell them, or just let them figure it out when we get to the airport?

Have you thought about how you are telling your kids?

St Patrick's Day in July is a whole lotta fun! We always have a blast even though its a termendous amount of work! MIL is completely nuts for even doing it! Really! She works her buns off all week the week before! She cooks and cooks and cooks some more! She make like 30 lbs of corned beef! CRAZY!

The allergy thing is trail and error! Give him something and wait to see if he reacts! I'm hoping it was a freak thing! But we'll see! We've been lucky with the kids with allergies! DD get really bad seasonal allergies and DS6 is allergic to penicillin (like his mommy) but we have had to deal with food allergies like so many of the kids friends!

If you'd like I will definitely share to scrapbook! I just have to take pictures of the pages and Ill get them into a post!

Our tent city is so lovely! The funny thing is that DH is completely uptight about the lawn and hates that the dog messes up the backyard but has not problem with 3 giant tents in our front yard OK!

We're going to tell the kids on Christmas! Because going is going to be a big part of their christmas present! Im not sure how to tell them yet though! There was a PTR/TR about a suprise trip and they put a balloon in a box with a note for the kids. So when they opened the box the balloon and note popped out! I may do that or I may do something with a bunch of boxes and them having to figure it out! My concern with that is that smarty DD will figure it out and DS6 will get upset.

I have a secret trip planned in my head to take the kids Oct of 2010 for a few days for MNSSHP. If I do it, which I full intend to do, I'm just going to wake them up and tell them "wake up, we're going to Disney World!" They'll freak!

That is a might cute picture you snapped of them. I am surprised they are jumping straight to a food allergy. Had he eaten anything new recently? Rashes can be caused by all sorts of things. I hope it wasn't something as serious as a food reaction.

Awww I'm so mad I couldn't make it to your party this weekend! If it wasn't for my 3 o clock hair apt I would have been able to come and I wasn't even supposed to have the apt on Saturday, it was supposed to be last Wednesday but then I got called for stupid jury duty Wednesday!

Anyway, I'm glad to hear you had a good time! I hope you find out what Ryan's allergy is to! I hope he didn't pass it on to his girlfriend while they were locking lips

I kinda thought the samething about the doctor jumping on a food allergy. He said it was definitely allergic and most likely food. He hadn't eaten anything new but he said it can come on at anytime. I think he was thinking food because it was all over his body, although I could be wrong. I'm hoping it was a freak thing and we wont have to worry about it! We had pasta tonight so if it was tomatoes we'll find out!

Aww! It would have been great it could have come! I hate, hate jury duty!! I know it's our duty as americans but I hat going there and sitting and waiting!! I got called 8 months pregnant with DD and spent a day at the courthouse in Riverhead! The funny thing was DH got called the same day! I also had to go a few years ago! But it only took a few hours because they only had 2 cases to pick for!

LOL!! Good god if it had been contagious she'd definitely have it!

Sorry for your DS having a rash! I hope you will find out what caused it and it will be something easily avoided if it turns out to be a food allergy. I knew a kid in school who got a rash from strawberries... Perhaps it was some kind of fruit? I just hope it wasn't tomatoes, they are so difficult to avoid!
