I love, love, love DD's outfit...
...she will look precious at 1900 PF...
Planning a shower is a mixed bag...it can be a lot of fun and joy to be able to do...but...anything that your extended family gets involved in is always vulnerable to the "too many cooks in the kitchen" syndrome...
(I know of what I speak-I planned a baby shower for my SiL...she's very type A...me not so much...it was all great in the end...and I have a wonderful nephew and (niece now too...
)
I think your schedule looks great...It makes me laugh that you put jacuzzi tub on there...
Awww, thanks!! She loves the outfit!! She asked if she could wear it for picture day at school today!!! LOL! I told her it wasn't really school friendly and definitely not school
bus friendly.
Planning the shower has been interesting to say the least! SIL is way to involved. Apparently SIL really did want
me to do the planning, according to DH. I really do enjoy doing it BUT SIL has her opinion, MIL has hers, SIL's 2 MIL's have an opinion, SIL's BF has an opinion and of course I have mine. Really people it's a baby shower!! Let's just all be thankful for little one that is in his or her way!!!
I should have really put the jacuzzi tub in the schedule every night!! It tell you, it's calling my name alll the way from FL!!! I went to bath and body works yesterday to get something yummy smelling bath products especially for the trip! I love their aromatherapy line! I got a new stress release scent thats lemongrass and caradmon!! Sooo nice!!!
Sounds great Melissa. i love the 1900 Park Fare dress. She's going to be adorable!
Thanks Sare!! I'm very happy with the way it came out and DD LOVES it!!!
I cannot WAIT to see pictures of DD in those outfits! Between the tinkerbell jeans and the 1900 outfit..kodak moments in spades!
You have a lovely eye for detail my friend.
Ah showers...I know of what you speak.
My sister is hosting one this friday for her best friend. I cannot make it, girls weekend. And yet...family.
Somehow I've ended up making
placecards
wineglass tags
a handmade card (ok that I'd have done anyway)
and a full antipasto bar including homemade sweet and spicy nuts, infused chili oil for the bread and marinated olives.
Not to mention decorating custom flip flops as my gift.
And I won't even be there!
I want to see pictures of the diaper cake! It all sounds lovely but oh, a lot of work.
Aww thanks!! I'm hoping to get some extra time at GF before dinner to take some nice pictures of her!! Actually one of my favorite pictures of all time was taken my my SIL when we stayed at GF.
That was DD's 7th B-day and she, as you can see, been to BBB earlier in the day! I love that it looks like she's waiting for her prince to come!

I want to get some shots of her at the bottom of the staircase, by the beautiful fountain outside and a few other places!
BTW, thank you so much for the complement!! My MIL calls it "having a flare" and DH just thinks I'm crazy, although he'd love for me to come up with a way to make some $$ off of it!
OMG, that's a heck of a lot of work for a shower you won't even be attending!!
I really do enjoy doing it but I feel like it's kind of snowballed into this huge production! Of course SIL wedding was a HUGE affair that knocked everyones socks off. I guess she wants a little of that in her baby shower. Me, I'm way more low key!
I'll definitely take a picture of the diaper cake and post it when I'm done! I acutally started it the other day but it wasn't working out the way I wanted so I had to switch my method! I've done it before for 2 friends and I did an towel cake for SIL when she had her bridal shower.
I just got all caught up-and WHOA, changes!!! They look really great though! Sounds like these ones are going to stick.

Well, let's hope so, huh, your
first trip is right around the corner!!!!
You are so awesomely talented-I love all the outfits and shirts, amazing work!!!! Are the black Mickey head and the Tink on the shirts patches? How did you do that??
If this plan isn't set in stone I may lose it!

Of course there is room to play and move around once we're there! We'll have to compare when we return!!
Thank you so much for the complement!!

I love to do it and it's one of things that keeps my SAHM mind busy
When I did the original Mickey head tye dyes I stitched the out with dental floss like the directions on the craft board say. But, I wasn't at all happy with the way they came out. So I trashed them, good thing I buy plain whites tee (not the band

) everytime I see them on sale at Target or
Walmart. I decided to tye dye the tees and then make stencil! Then I used fabric spray paint to make the head. From there I go the idea that I could really do the silhouette of a lot of stuff. See as DD loves tink I went that route. The pants I just did a smaller stencil.
Doing the stencils was a lot less work then stitching out mickey's outline!! That tool forever and was a giant pain in the neck! I want to do tees for everyone for January and there's no way in the world I'm stitching 10 shirts!!
Ohhhhhhhhh.....I wish I could see those pictures RIGHT NOW! I feel asleep in front of the computer last night, so there was very little Dis'ing for me.
What's this about ONLY giving the illusion of being super organized? That's some good illusion! That baby shower sounds like a huge undertaking.
Your plans look great. I didn't realize you were spending your last night at the WL. Was that planned? We had dinner at Artist Point last week and I completely fell in love with the WL. I want to stay in the WLV so bad right now. (Tomorrow is my 7 month booking window for May and I am going to try for WLV, BWV, or BCV. If none of those are available I'm going with AKV or OKW. AKV because the couple that is traveling with us really ooh'd and aahh'd over the June pics. Plus the standard villa rate is so reasonable and the standard view did not detract from my stay at all. OKW if nothing is avail because I haven't stayed there yet. Wish me luck! ....sorry I'm rambling)
Congratulations on having less than one month to go!

Then another trip in January - awesome.
Yes, I will be starting a TR. I keep delaying it, but hope to get it roll'in this weekend!
I swear, I really think it's an illusion
The stay at WL came into play when I realized the kids have school off on 3rd for election day, so I got a great AP holder rate for that night and figured we'd stay at my favorite resort
We LOVE WL!! Love, love, love it soooo much!! It's so beautiful and peaceful! We actually thought about buying resale VWL instead of AKV from DVC. Decided to go with AKV. When (yes, when) we add on it may very well be VWL.
I hope you get the VWL reservation!! You'll LOVE it!! We walked through the first floor when we did our WL photo shoot and it was sooooo nice!! I actually thought of calling DVC yesterday to see if I could switch January to VWL. But I know my sisters kiddos will LOVE AKV savannah view. Maybe I can split the stay.... LOL!!! You have got to let me know if you get it!!!!

I really want to go through my plans and compare them to parks hours etc. January park hours are out, all but MK! Really, are you kidding?! Another WDW message board site has them listed and I know they get them from what is supposed to be an "inside source" but the way they do the listing gives me a headache! They don't do it in calendar format, stupid! I keep checking the WDW site and no MK, ugh! Hopefully I 'll be back soon with January plans!!!
In another note, I know I mentioned that I signed up for Owners Locker. Well, people who have lockers name them. There are a lot of really great names out there! The one owner of Owner Locker even posts on Facebook the different names and arrivals! I was having a hard time coming up with a good name!!! I thinki I finally came up with one "Pixie dust, whatchamacallits, doohickeys, thingamajigs & magic" what do you think?!
