I'm the only one of six "well-aged"
siblings without a college degree. Several of us went out to eat yesterday, and I mentioned I'd just started a certificate program at the local community college for accounting - and that I'm going to complete a two-semester program in four months. Do you think any of them encouraged me, or had anything positive to say? Nope. "Why don't you go for a degree?"
Fortunately, my sister's very sensible boyfriend was with us, and he, at least, merely said, "Good for you!".
I'm giving away some brothers and sisters. Any takers?
