Boo bash tickets

Same day purchasing boo bash? Anyone done this and been successful?

This would be a better question for the boo bash thread on tpas. You will probably find the answer without having to ask if you search the thread.

We stayed at Riviera last weekend and asked guest services there but was told they are sold out. We didn't give up though and went over to Magic Kingdom the day before Boo Bash. We checked with guest services located at the entrance and we were able to buy tickets. I've also heard of people getting tickets at Disney Springs so you could also try there.

We went to the Ticket Center at Disney Springs on 9/21 and got two tickets for that night's Boo Bash. Quick and painless (except maybe a little painful for my wallet)!

Disney claims that they will not sell tickets at the gate but they are not telling the truth we went for two different times in August and they claimed that it was sold out and then lo and behold they were selling tickets at the gate. I feel like they try to hold down attendance on the first night of these events so that the vloggers will pretty much show the event in the best light but then after that .....no holds barred. The first night we went with the vloggers and it was great. The second night was a week later and the whole thing changed. Lines were much longer and they ran out of candy!!

They've been extremely lenient on the "non-refundable" policy. It's my understanding that what they sell at the gate are returned tickets; they don't make those available online again but instead sell them at the gate (or maybe in-person in advance).

I went to the ticket center at disney springs on 10/6 ask the person who checks you in if they had any she said she didnt know but as soon as I asked the cashier she said they had available for all the remaining dates INCLUDING Halloween Night! Soo it seems Disney is saying sold out in the case people cancel their trips due to covid and instead are letting people already on property buy them so its less likely they cancel...suggestion is to either wait til you are here at WDW or if you have friends or family in Orlando area for them to check because if the event was reallly sold out, they wouldn't have sold me tickets for it!
