Well,
What a weekend that was couldnt put a foot wrong.
It all started on Saturday really. We went to Alisons Family Christmas bash during the day, food, drink pressies etc but I decided not to drink as we had a Quiz Night later on in the evening.
So, we wnet to the Quiz Night as team were only here for the beer but I was persuaded not to drink so that I could help in answering some of the more trivial questions.
2 litres of Coke later and WE WON! by 1 point!
We all received a bottle of wine each and I played catch-up when we got home LOL
So, Sunday was Christmas Fayre at the girls Primary School. Alison was detailed to work in the kitchen on refreshments etc and I took the DDs round to buy sundry rubbish, cuddly toys and bits they had made throughout the year.
Suddenly PANIC!
The school caretaker, who was due to do a 2-hour stint as Santa had failed to show and the queue for Santa was growing by the minute.
Santas helpers tried to get other people to do it but no luck and they thought they might have to shut Santas Grotto after all.
DDs came running up to me to get in touch with Alison for an urgent message.
So, Alison put me on the spot and I agreed to do it!
It certainly put me in the Christmas Spirit.
