I bought a BLT resale contract that closed recently. We weren't supposed to have any 2020 points. I got my membership e-mail and set up my account last week, Yesterday I signed on to see if my points loaded. Our 2021 points were showing but there was also 132 points for 2020. We signed papers in January with a scheduled May closing. I guess they had points that they were not able to use. Most of the 2020 points were banked from 2019 but I still have to Feb 28 to use them.

I looked up the previous owner on the Orange County Comptroller website. They have bought and sold a large number of contracts in the last few years. It was a company. I’m surprised they didn’t transfer the points before closing. Lucky for me though.

Do you know if the standard right now is for new membership information to come via email? I closed a contract and the deed was recorded at the beginning of last month, but I wasn't sure if I should be looking for something via email or snail mail.

It was about a month for the email.

You will get the email when the contract loads, Points come later as they are done by a different department,...a division of MS.

You do not get notified when points are there, You just keep checking once you know the contract is showing. Right now, average is 2 weeks...unless you call MS and can get a CM to load faster...not all will or know who to contact to do it.

It was later. I didn’t check every day but I think it was a week or two before the points loaded.

I bought 125. It came with 132 points I wasn’t expecting. 125 of them were banked from 2019.
