Cast of characters: Bonnie (me!) 42 and resident vacation planner!
DH Shane 45 - driver and happy doing anything!
DD Shayna 17 - Disney nut and wishes she was American instead of Canadian!
DS Ben 14 - wise guy who rolls with just about everything!
DS Jarrett 12 - used to be the easy one to travel with but now has very little patience with crowds and anything that doesn't include swimming!

Day 7: March 15

This was our last day at Disney and we packed and checked out of Pop Century. We enjoyed our stay there but because of our schedule we didn't get to use the pools or the food court as much as we thought we would.

Packed up the car and grabbed the bus to Epcot. We went straight to Mission Space and all I can say is that it's pretty intense! I'm glad I can say I did it, but both DD and I sat out the fastpasses the second time around! We both felt nauseous and the strange feeling in my head didn't go away for over a day!

We planned on spending time in World Showcase for the first time. I don't know why we never got there before, but Epcot has never been a park we spend a whole lot of time in. Today though, we strolled around, ate some different foods at different pavilions and enjoyed the lack of crowds there. Did the Living Seas and we thoroughly enjoyed the Finding Nemo exhibit. Always have to do Ellen's Energy Adventure and before we knew it, it was almost 3 p.m.! We did the Leave a Legacy tiles which helped DD to know that she will be 'enshrined' at Disney. She got a kick out of it I think!

Decided to head out of Disney and grab some dinner at Sweet Tomatoes before checking in at the Royal Pacific Hotel. (If you want to read about that portion of the trip, I will post those days on the Universal Trip Reports Board).

Note: Thanks for all your kind comments about our trip. All the information from these boards has helped me create many magical moments for my family. Nobody seems to understand when I explain how I get this information - I'm just grateful that this forum is here! Thanks guys!

Hi, Sounds like you and your family had an excellent time. My husband and I were down the same week as you and I agree, the parks seemed very crowded. Spring break time is a time I doubt we'll go again. We really didn't go on much but just enjoyed walking around, shopping and eating. It was a very relaxing week for us but it went too fast as usual. Can't wait for the next one! Maybe someday your daughter will have dual citizenship! She can love both countries! Hope you have started the countdown to the next trip!!!:earsgirl:

Bonnie, thanks for the trip report! I'm glad you and your DD had such a wonderful time alone at MK.

Thanks for sharing your trip Bonnie!:)

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. I enjoyed reading them:D

Sounds like you had a great trip, thanks for writing a report.

I was at Pop Century from March 2-9 and really loved it there, enjoyed the grounds, pool, and food court---especially the pizza!

Excellent trip report Bonnie. It was fantastic & makes me "homesick" for Disneyworld!!

Thanks for all the kind comments guys!:sunny:

Thanks for the great trip report Bonnie. I experienced much of the same as you. I really enjoyed our stay at Pop Century. I didn't think I would when we first checked in Monday morning as it was a ZOO in the food court. But as people got into their own routines I found the crowd thinned out and I began to enjoy POP. I can't wait to go back now.

This was our third March Break trip and if this is any indication of what it's going to be like, now that travel has picked up, I think we will avoid this week again.

I can hardly wait until our trip down!

With all the good reports regarding POP, I'm not so leary about staying there anymore!

I know what you mean about staying at the resort and experiencing the ammenities. This trip I added an extra day so that we could walk around and enjoy!

Thanks so much for the terriffic report!

I know just what you mean about Mission Space. After I got off I wasn't quite right for the rest of the day....had that green around the gils feeling. I'm looking forward to giving it another try on our next trip to see if it has the same effect on me)

Glad you had such a great trip!
