Cast of characters: Bonnie (me!) 42 and resident vacation planner!
DH Shane 45 - driver and happy doing anything!
DD Shayna 17 - Disney nut and wishes she was American instead of Canadian!
DS Ben 14 - wise guy who rolls with just about everything!
DS Jarrett 12 - used to be the easy one to travel with but now has very little patience with crowds and anything that doesn't include swimming!
Day 7: March 15
This was our last day at Disney and we packed and checked out of Pop Century. We enjoyed our stay there but because of our schedule we didn't get to use the pools or the food court as much as we thought we would.
Packed up the car and grabbed the bus to Epcot. We went straight to Mission Space and all I can say is that it's pretty intense! I'm glad I can say I did it, but both DD and I sat out the fastpasses the second time around! We both felt nauseous and the strange feeling in my head didn't go away for over a day!
We planned on spending time in World Showcase for the first time. I don't know why we never got there before, but Epcot has never been a park we spend a whole lot of time in. Today though, we strolled around, ate some different foods at different pavilions and enjoyed the lack of crowds there. Did the Living Seas and we thoroughly enjoyed the Finding Nemo exhibit. Always have to do Ellen's Energy Adventure and before we knew it, it was almost 3 p.m.! We did the Leave a Legacy tiles which helped DD to know that she will be 'enshrined' at Disney. She got a kick out of it I think!
Decided to head out of Disney and grab some dinner at Sweet Tomatoes before checking in at the Royal Pacific Hotel. (If you want to read about that portion of the trip, I will post those days on the Universal Trip Reports Board).
Note: Thanks for all your kind comments about our trip. All the information from these boards has helped me create many magical moments for my family. Nobody seems to understand when I explain how I get this information - I'm just grateful that this forum is here! Thanks guys!
