Ugh! Going early November and figured I'd have no problems getting Bonnett Creek (either a 2-BR or 3-BR) and everything is sold out! Never had a problem this far in advance in a relatively low season.

What are you favorite alternates? Really like BC because of how close it is and that they have a shuttle (since our nanny sometimes takes kids back a little early or joins us later morning).

Recommendations welcome!

Did you look on redweek and ebay? Lots of reservations are being made to sell. I don't even start looking until 60 days out.

Try Vacation Rentals by Owners www.vrbo.com look up Florida and the Lake Buena Vista area or Vacation Strategy they too should or might have something available. Our family of 7 stayed in a two bedroom this past April for 7 nights for only $650.

I just looked at the availability for Bonnet Creek ( I am a Wyndham Owner). I am not sure when in November you plan on going and for how long. However, I do see several days open. I am sure that someone will post these for sale soon.

Caritbe Royale is really nice. Check it out. Also keep checking where you really want to stay. Cancellations always happen.

SkyAuction has 2 bed with lots of November dates.

That is low season at Bonnet Creek, so they get rented very quickly (it requires an owner less points to rent). You should be able to find some one Ebay, probably cheaper than you will get anywhere else.

Be a little careful with SkyAuction. They often show availability in the ads that doesn't actually exist. There used to be a way to confirm it by phone before bidding, but even that is not a guarantee.

That actually depends on how you buy through them. They do offer a variety, Buy It Now and Auctions that are set dates. There are also Travel Certificiates where they are not guaranteed even if you check available dates at the time since you are not bidding on an actual resort/time vs a certificate. We use them and have never had a problem if going for a direct booking vs a certificate. I have used at Bonnet Creek.

Yeah - we've used both Ken and Denise and vacation strategy a few times. We're going Nov 5-9. Need the deluxe since need the pull out bed. My guess is that something will open but still surprised sold out on those dates already.

Thanks for this suggestion. Checked them out and they actually have a 7-day available from Nov. 2 - 9. We're only traveling the 4th - 9th but the price is actually the same as I would get through my other usual vendors so as long as there's no problem with my checking in late, I may try that. Never used them before but sounds like most people who have used them have had OK experiences.
