Bonnet or windsor hilla

Starting the planning stages of our next trip. Family of 5. Have not been since 2007. Have stayed at windsor hills 3 times in the past, and we really enjoyed it. In 2007 windsor hills was the place to be, and it looks like Bonnet is the place to be now. If you have been to both, and we're going to choose between the two, which would it be?

On a side note, is there any way to get Disney extra hours without staying at the resort? Thanks in advance!!!

We stayed twice at WH, in two different townhomes. We really like both places for different reasons. At this point we would probably choose to stay at Bonnet Creek again, as we like the resort atmosphere, choice of pools, some on-site dining, pool bars, etc. Also like the location better, close to Downtown Disney and fairly close to good offsite dining as well. Things we liked about WH were themed bedrooms in the townhouses we stayed in, parking right outside your door, and nice pool. We would enjoy staying there again, but Bonnet Creek would be our first choice.
