Bonnet Creek vs other rentals

I might be bidding on renting bonnet creek. Once I send in payment it is final. I am nervous. I need opinions on bonnet creek or should I rent another timeshare. Last year we stayed at vistana resort, liked it. That was the first time we stayed at a resort. I am leaning towards bonnet creek because it is only two years old and the pool area looks nice. We are not doing the parks and mostly chilling out at the resort this year. I need help deciding. Does anyone know if the two bedroom is as big as vistana cascades 2 bedroom. Last year we kept driving by the bonnet creek sign, didn't know what it was and never ventured inside. Now I wish we did. I probably have to decide in a day or two.

Where did you find this rental to bid on? I am really interested in this resort as well. We would probably be interested in a condo rental for our next family vacation (with 2 teen boys 1 room just doesn't work! ) I've been researching DVC because we want to be as close to WDW as possible.

stayed in a 2 bedroom condo from the 7th to the 14th of jan 2006. the condo was very nice, as was the pool area. lazy river was wonderful. There was one disapointment. the 2nd bedroom had 2 beds which were "queens" which were no larger than 2 doubles. my wifes feet hung off and she is 5 5. other than that, a real nice place to stay. if the beds dont matter, than you will be very happy. resort is beautiful, and the rooms are too. spacious and nice.

if you DON'T want to do WDW - then pick another hotel.

this is in the offsite property - across the street from CBR and Pop - on the other side is 535. It is very, very close to Epcot and studios.

I would not do it for a 'no' parks vacation.

I would go with Orange Lake, Summer Bay, Hilton Grand Vacation Club, SHeraton's Vistana (either one) - first - they are all great. best yet, besides HGVC at SW, none are near a park - WDW or otherwise.

What did you decide to do? Where did you find this resort listed to "bid" on it. I am planning on staying there in Dec. I have made contact with an owner, but have not made a deal. I would love to find a discount!

I found it on bidshares but it was not available for my time frame. I still don't have anything booked for August.
