Hi,
From all the great reviews and the need for more space, I'm planning on staying at the BC, June 27--July 5. For all those that have rented and traveled during holiday periods, should I book now and hope that maybe the price will come down during rebooking(although some thinks it may be very difficult due to the holiday) or wait until 60 days prior and see what I can do. At the current rate, I'd still be saving well over 1000.00 compared to staying at a Disney Deluxe,(which makes me think, just book it for crying out loud) but I'm seeing many posts on here getting rooms for much less than what I'm getting now. Anyone having traveled during 4th of July at BC have any suggetions?? And also wondering what buildings the 3 bedroom deluxes are located in?? Thanks!

Depends. How badly do you want to stay there, and what would you do if nothing came through?

Holiday weeks aren't hard to find, but the 60-day inventory can be scarce. You could play chicken with the owners who speculatively booked weeks, don't rent them early, and then try to fire-sale them on eBay, but that takes confidence. If this is a "maybe we'll go, maybe we won't" sort of trip, taking your chances is fine. If this is a "we really want to go" trip, I'd shop around, get the best price I could, and run with it.

Hi, It's not a maybe we'll go trip. We already have our airline tix for those dates and it seems that Bonnet Creek is the best situation for 3-4 adults/3kids.

How much are you paying? Did you ask more than renter for a price?

Been quoted 280.00/night for 3 bedroom deluxe--for what I'll be getting and seeing that most Disney Deluxe places start at 400.00 night, it seems like a decent price---don't think I want to be scurrying around at the 60 day mark trying to find other spots for July 4th weekend. Not sure, cause I've never gone over a holiday before.

If you are looking for a 3bdrm, I'd definitely book now. Bonnett Creek has a very large percentage of 2bdrm units, but comparatively fewer 3bdrm and 1bdrm's available. Especially with a Holiday, I'd be VERY surprised if there were any 3bdrms left available at the 60 day mark even if you could find several 2bdrms for your dates.

That seems high to me. I would get a few more estimates, but that's just me. While that rate quoted you is great compared to Disney prices, it seems high compared to what things usually go for at Bonnet Creek.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with looking to see if there are one or two other sources for that reservation that might knock a few bucks off the price. For example, most owners at the Wyndham owners' discussion board rent for a little less than that, I think. http://forums.atozed.com/

I totally suggest staying at BC. We love it.
