I think it's decent. I've eaten there several times and some of the meals were very good and some were horrible. If you are used to authentic cuban cuisine, as I am, you may be disappointed.
We ate there a few years ago. Bland food, terrible service, loud loud loud.
Having since tried real Cuban food, Bongo's just stands out as more of a disappointment, in my mind.
The walk-up window outside has been decent enough, in a pinch.

Looks like they've fixed it, but I REALLY love Cuban food and don't think I'm willing to risk disappointment and/or anything worse.
The rice is minute rice and the food is very bland. It's a nice place for the ambiance, etc, and the food isn't THAT bad..... if you are looking for authentic cuisine, you won't find it here and for that I was dissapointed.
