Bongo's Cuban Cafe

Ok everyone, so last night we went out to eat here @ home. My husband got a cuban sandwich, which he LOVED. So I thought I should ask about Bongo's Cuban Cafe. Do u need ADR or can we walk in? I saw Rachael Ray's $40 a day on the travel channel. Is it Gloria's restaurant? Is this is the same as the one in Miami? Lastly & most of all, Is it good? [Rachael Ray seemed to love it,but she loves everything] Thanks dis friends!

I've walked in many times for lunch, don't know about diiner time.
The black bean soup there is, imho, excellent.

We've walked in at lunch time and for a very early dinner (like before 5 p.m.). It does seem to get crowded in the evening so you may want to make an ADR. We really enjoy Bongos - I get the steak with chimichurri sauce, tostones and rice - it is delicious and a huge portion! DH raved about the ceviche last time.
