Hi

I have managed to convince DH that Christmas in Florida would be much better than at home - so I have been given the green light for Dec 04.

I'm too late for anything reasonably priced via Virgin and the scheduled flights for then have not been released. I have looked on the Bon-Voyage Site and prepared a quote. The flights for 18th December are showing as £350 per adult with BA - which I think is very good. I know Bon Voyage won't confirm these prices until BA release them, but for any of you who have booked with Bon-Voyage - How close to the 'published' prices are the actual prices?

Also - any good/bad experiences with Bon-voyage so I can make my mind up?

Thanks

Maxine

Hi Maxine

We used Bon Voyage for our December 03 trip. I have to say I was/am very pleased with them.
We had to advance register for our flights and the price you see is the price you pay. Well it was for us anyway.
If you're not sure you can either give them a ring or drop them a email and double check, they were always very helpful when I had any queries.

Hi Squitty

Thanks for the feedback. I've been surfing various sites and can't find anything to match Bon Voyage.

I've e-mailed them my quote asking them to call me back. If I don't hear from them sometime tomorrow - I'll give them a call.

Fingers crossed the filghts don't get snapped up by others in the queue before me.

HI Maxine,

We are also thinking of going for Xmas this year, and like you was having trouble finding flights so far in advance, and the price you qoute sounds really good.

Can you let me know teh web address for them, so I can go and have a look.

Cheers
Nat

Hi Maxine,

We reserved our flights for this year with Bon Voyage before they were released and the price estimated was the price charged. We didn't get the outbound flight (school hols!) we wanted though so opted to fly into Tampa instead and out of MCO.
I found them very friendly, helpful and professional.

I have used Bon Voyage as well. They do flight onlys, but there cheapest rates tend to require 3 nights hotel accomodation or 5 days car hire. We considered booking 3 nights hotel and not using it (they start from £20/night and even with an extra £60 the flights are a good price) but in the end we booked the car through them, the quote was pretty competitive and we got a free upgrade to an Intermediate.

I have been quite impressed with them and will use them again,

Hi Maxine!

Long time no see - just another to give Bon Voyage a big thumbs up!

We've used them over the last couple of trips with no trouble at all.

Thanks for all the help/advice. However, whilst the Bon-Voyage site shows flight prices for the dates I am interested in, there are no flights available - BA have no availibility - they could only offer 10th December - Virgin are the same (12th) - unless of course I want to pay mega bucks!!!!

To give them credit, they were very helpful and tried various options - including Tampa & Miami.

I know this is a very busy time of the year, so its probably too late - unless I win the Lottery of course.

I will wait to see what the availibilty is when the scheduled prices are released to the masses later this month - fingers crossed
