Bombshell Obama Pastor Video

Agreed. And yes, Obama is half white - that half should be denouncing the reverend......... ;)

He already denounced what was said for the most part, so you're too late on that one... The pastor's retired by the way

Yanno... I went down to the corner to crank up the ol' attack machine, but discovered that it was "two plays for a quarter" and all I had was folding money. :confused3 Alas, maybe tomorrow. :rolleyes1

you must have missed the change machine two doors down. of course, they were laughing and drinking and having a party.

Crap, now I can't vote for the pastor!

Oh wait, I never was to begin with.

No...but you are voting for someone who obviously doesn't have issues with what this Pastor preaches - he's been with this pastor for 20 years. To me that speaks at a volume just as loud as the preachers hate filled voice.

When I'm looking for a new church, or if Obama's pastor runs for president, I'll care.

In the meantime, do you get the impression Republicans realize that more Americans agree with Obama on the issues and the country's direction that agree with McCain? And they are desperately looking for something - anything! - to change the subject from what the candidates will do as president? Personally, that's what I'm going to use to decide who do vote for.

McCain wants to continue the policies of George Bush. Obama doesn't. That's what the election will come down to - not youtube clips of folks not running for president. We'll see in November which way the American people want to go.

Sounds to me like the pastor is working for Hillary.:rotfl:

I can't help but wonder if all these posters would be so quick to let a candidate off the hook that had been attending weekly services full of white supremacy for twenty years and considered the minister a source of guidance. Somehow, I think not.

As for it all being true, I didn't know so many people here believed America is to blame for 9/11;its no wonder so many people cringe at the thought of a democrat in the White House.

lol. I'm sure some can find fault with something McCain's minister said once too. Guess that disqualifies him from being a candidate also. :goodvibes

Making a big deal about this video is just more 'Farrakhan' style nonsense in an attempt to discredit Obama, imho.

Ok, now that's funny. :rotfl:

I'll just say that being a pastor myself, it is curious to me what decision-making process leads Wright to speak like he does. I have had members of my flock run for office (Superior Court Judge; County Commissioner; City Council; School Board etc). In each case I have prayed for and with the candidates in private, spoken well of them when I had the chance (but NEVER from the pulpit); and even donated money to their campaigns. Personally I just cannot connect the dots to get to where Wright was in his form of support. This is aside from how the candidate himself handled -or chose not to handle -this particular form of support. I know I may be in the DIS minority, but -in short -in this case it matters.

Yeah...its a real hoot. :sad2: Mit Romney had his religion picked apart like crazy and that was okay...and yet once again Obama is untouchable. :sad2:

Hello? What basas said was funny - to me. Not funny to you? Don't laugh.
Tell me what the preacher said that offends you so very much. Please. I'm serious here.

i think it was wrong for romney to be judged by his religion......

:confused3 this is not judging obama by his religion......that would be christian..correct?
he does not worship this pastor......

LMAO! "And not be reduce to their level of hatred, bigotry, and small mindedness."

This is pure entertainment! I have found MY new spiritual advisor!

Yeah, by other Republicans.

Does that change the fact that he was scrutinized for being a Morman and yet Obama get the kid glove treatment yet again? And I beg to differ with you - plenty of democrats picked him apart also.

It's not what I've experienced either. I just don't see what he said that was so horrible. Do I wish he hadn't used the word HATE? Oh yes. Do I think HE speaks for Senator Obama? Nope. Do you speak for each of your parishioners?

No one should be judged by their religion.... and it seems to me the group who had the biggest problem with Romney were the Fundamentalist Evangelical Republicans, not Democrats.

Really? You're serious? Cause now THATS funny:lmao:

Lets put it this way...the list would be smaller if I mentioned what DIDN'T offend me. Racists don't offend you?

No, but we are all part of the same Body of Christ, laboring under the same mission statement, working toward a common vision, sharing one another's burdens, celebrating with one another, grieving, mourning, counseling, etc. IOW it aint exactly your ordinary relationship.
