Nope, you don't have to be staying at AKL...you can just make ressies at Boma and enjoy.

A few years ago, this was a question I wanted to ask too, but was embarrassed to ask. Fortunately I learned the answer and as a result we opened up a new world of Disney that we hadn't experienced before - Disney dining in the resorts and the unique atmosphere to be found in each. It adds so much more to our Disney holiday to be able to eat in a Disney restaurant each evening.

Our favourites (so far ) O'Hanas and - of specific interest to you - Boma's. Of course we aim to check out a LOT more new (to us) ones this year too.

Ok, I made a ADR for Boma's on May 10th at 8am, we may do dinner there that day as well still undecided tho.

I'm staying at AKL for one night before my cruise in November. Have to show my little sister the beautiful resort and take her to my favorite WDW restaurant. My mouth just waters thinking about the chicken, curry, cocoanut soup...and zebra domes....and those chocolate mousse crunch thingies....and the pork with their wonderful mustard! We haven't decided if we'll do the big Boma breakfast before heading out to the ship....they will have a big pile of shrimp waiting for us onboard
