Which one is better--breakfast or dinner? Why?

Thanks for all your input!! :goodvibes

oooh that is a tough one, they are both so good.

I say dinner though. Why? While breakfast is yummy and has a few unique items it is still breakfast yah now? eggs, pancackes, bagels- you get the idea. At night is when Boma comes alive and there are so many different things to try.

Dinner is our choice. It depends on what you're looking for.

We did breakfast in April 2007. Other than their specialty juice it was just your average breakfast buffet. There was an interesting oatmeal that was African but it wasn't appealing to me. I thought it was distinctly average - like most breakfasts.

We did dinner in October 2007. Dinner has amazing flavors and different varieties for your palate. There are some 'safe' dishes, but the soups and different things to try are fantastic at dinner.

If you really want a treat - try Jiko for dinner one night. Amazing!

I like both breakfast and dinner at Boma. I would want to do both...but not on the same day. :)

We are planning on going to Jiko's on our last evening at WDW. I thought it would be a nice end to another great Disney adventure. Now that you say it's amazing, I can't wait.

Dinner!:thumbsup2

Such a variety of items on the buffett! Foods that you won't likely find in your hometown. I tried lots of things I've never eaten before and loved them!

Enjoy!!!:goodvibes

We have done breakfast 3 times in the last 2 trips, it is amazing (tons of pics from our April trip in my signature)

I cannot wait to try dinner in Oct

:wizard: Boma is a must for us whenever we go....we've only had dinner there and it's always great. This year we decided to do dinner and breakfast!!

Definitely dinner. As a PP mentioned, breakfast has a few unique items, but the rest is pretty much standard fare. Dinner on the other hand, has a wealth of interesting dishes not found elsewhere on property.
Enjoy!

Thanks for all the responses! :thumbsup2

It looks like we will be enjoying dinner there. My family is really excited about eating here. It is one of the few places we haven't eaten at in the World.

Thanks again DISers :goodvibes

Don't forget to leave time before or after your meal to explore the resort and go out back to view the animals. Even after dark it's worthwhile as there's usually a cast member out there with night vision goggles.

Kona, as much as I didn't like Kona for breakfast it's a lot less expensive for breakfast food at Kona than paying for a full buffet at Boma.

Boma seems to have a wide variety??????

I'm on the DDP, so cost doesn't matter.

Thanks again for any comments......:goodvibes :goodvibes

Dinner was awesome!!! Everyone in our party loved the options. While we were staying there the concierge also offered us night-vision goggles to watch the animals (from 9 pm to 11pm). Too cool!

We are going to Boma and Kona for dinner for the first time next trip on the DDP. We are really looking forward to it.
Can someone tell me are there any kid specific foods or kid friendly. My daughter will eat many things listed on the buffet, my DS is a little pickier.

Yes, the last time we ate there, Boma had a section with kid-friendly items (mac & cheese, chicken fingers, spaghetti, etc...), so your DS will find something to eat for sure.
