DD and I had dinner at Boma on Saturday. It was a return visit. She doesn't care for exotic tastes, but always finds plenty to enjoy. As others have mentioned the soups and salads are different, but wonderful. I tried the coconut curried chicken soup as well as the carrot-ginger soup, both were delicious. The nut crusted salmon was also very good.
We've also had breakfast there and it didn't disappoint.
I agree with the previous poster questioning whether you want to do Boma with a large group. There were several large tables of at least 10 in the center of the room and it seemed that they were never all sitting at once. 'Ohana is very good, the food is served family style and the atmosphere is fun....might be a good choice for a special family gathering.
