Less than 3 weeks before our trip, and I need to change a dinner ADR.... but of course, there are no tables available on the new night! :scared1:
Anyone have any experience getting into Boma, without an ADR, during free dining? It would just be DH and I, and we'd be looking to go around 5pm. Thanks!!! :flower3:

Anything is possible. BUT.....restaurants are more crowded than usual during free dining. 5 pm is prime time for dinner. Boma is popular. You already know from the ADR system that they are currently fully booked. They do not hold tables back from the ADR system in case of walk-ups.

Basically, you are gambling on more no-shows than other people like yourself and/or Disney newbies who don't know about ADRs and are also trying for walk-ups. Again, anything is possible, but make sure you have a back-up plan in case you get there and they snicker and say they might be able to seat you....in about 4 hours.....maybe.....

As Quin said, anything is possible. But it is highly unlikely that you will get a table at Boma at 5 PM during free dining. If they had an available table, you could book it.
I wouldn't bother to try.

I'd call the day of first thing in the AM and try to see if they have had any recent cancellations. or plan on going later in the evening..as in after 7 pm once the initial FD crowd has eaten
