Exactly what spices do they use? Can anyone name anything? I cook a lot and was wondering exactly what everyone was talking about. It seems like you either love the food at Boma or hate it. I have had South African food before and one thing I thought was interesting was a beef stew with cinnamon and raisins in it. I loved it, but I like Cincinnati chili, too. We are staying at AKL for the first time in December, so it will be interesting to try Boma. I can't wait!
And don't be too hard on the OP. Some things just gross some people out and others don't. A lot of it is what you grew up eating (Vegemite, anyone?)
