Ok, opinions needed. Which do you prefer for dinner between Boma and Sanaa? And if you had to choose between breakfast and dinner at Boma, which is the better option?

Boma for dinner was awesome. I also had breakfast there and it was great but dinner wins out between the two. It is a tough call to pick between Boma and Sanaa since I really enjoyed both of them. I guess if I had to choice I would go with Boma since you can try a little of everything they have to offer there. I don't think you can go wrong with either one so it depends on if you want to try a little of everything or have a sit down meal.

We've been to Boma dinner once and Sanaa 3x. That should tell you where our preferences fall with this. While Boma is a buffet and I always lower my expectations at a buffet/AYCTE, for the price, I expected higher quality proteins and more interesting dishes as a whole. Sanaa, on the other hand, has been exceptional on each of our visits...from the food to the service to the setting. The bread service alone is reason to try Sanaa.

Sanaa wins out by far for me at dinner. Boma is the best breakfast on property in my opinion. It's funny. I have three fave meals at Disney. Dinner at Artist Point, breakfast at Boma, and dinner at Sanaa.

We usually make a special trip to Boma for breakfast everytime we go to WDW.

This is a hard one cause even though they are both at AKL, they are apples to oranges. First the experience. Sanna is sit down table service on the savanna. Totally different feel. The food is excellent regardless of eating lunch or dinner (menu is only slightly different). I take out of town guest there for lunch often just for the experience of eating great food while watching the animals.
Boma is a buffet. The food is great but it is buffet and tends to be a bit crowded and noisey. Not everyone likes that experience. Breakfast there I feel is a better value & one the the best on property but not everyone will agree.
If it's food quality, they are both good. If it's experience then maybe Sanna.

Thank you, everyone, for your opinions! I think we may go with Sanaa for lunch, and try to fit in a Boma breakfast!

I visited both Boma and Sanna on my Nov 2015 trip and have included a link to my food report above. We did them both on the same day.

I think you have made an almost perfect decision - I would to Sanaa later but before the sun goes down so you can see the animals. Sanaa is easily one of my favourite restaurants at WDW - the menu is so different to anywhere else on site and the food is just great.
