We are trying to decided on a buffet dinner at WDW. We have eaten at Cape May and LOVE IT. However, I thought is would be nice to try something new.

Can anyone comment -- Cape May or Boma?????

Thanks:mickeybar :stitch: :goofy:

Boma for us. Different kinds of food. They have a great selection for kids too.

Cape May was always one of my favorites but I have say Boma is really so much better. Hands down. The food is "different" but I do believe the quality is MUCH better.

I will still go out and say that Cape May does have a better dessert selection. The desserts are very good a Boma (and I know people LOVE those Zebra Domes), I just think Cape May does a better job in that area.

Boma for us was ok. We found too much nutmeg in everything and it was very very loud. The constant pounding of the drums while we were there gave us a headache. However the food quality was very good! We are trying Cape May next time.

BOMA

The atmosphere is better, the food is interesting but not scary, the hotel is so neat to walk around after dinner (be sure to go out on the deck to see the animals) ...Cape May is fine but Boma is great!

I feel the same way!

But I did not like Boma. The food was not to my liking, maybe it was the nutmeg someone above mentioned, or some other spice.

If you have not been there, try it. Next time I will try somewhere else.

Hi
We were at Boma in December and didn't care for it. I know most people love it, but we didn't. Most of the food had a sweet taste to it. I think the rice had raisins in it, plus the food wasn't hot. We're going to Cape May in August. I haven't been there for about 13 years, so I don't know how good it is now. I'm anxious to try it again.

Totally agree. Cape May is a good buffet but Boma is exceptional. On the other hand I've seen little old ladies at Cape May who I swear ate nothing but desserts, and I think they got their money's worth! I'll take oreo bon-bons over zebra domes, and the rest of the dessert selection at Cape May is a winner.

But if you're a meat & potatoes person and you think curry powder is for athlete's foot, then stick with Cape May.

I vote Cape May, we eat there every year, tried Boma's 2 years ago and we all hated it. I love different foods, but I guess we are the minority here and didn't care for it. Every one has their preferences.
