Thank you to everyone. We plan on attending the movie here tonight at Jambo. I saw the movies are the playground. How do the movies work? Are there seats or you sit on the ground and is anything provided with the movie? I know it’s not food related lol.

I'll 2nd the bobotie. It sounds exotic but my kids loved it and I'm sure your husband will too if he likes casseroles.

There's all porridge that gets topped with a chunky tomato sauce that goes with it. The name is escaping me but it is also very good yet accessible for the less adventurous.

Pap is the porridge and chakalaka is the sauce/stew. If you want to de-exoticize it, say it's like a vegetable stew with grits (pap is made with white corn and grits is made with yellow corn, but still essentially the same).
